LOCATION: MADRID

Creative Intern opportunity for growing company in fab workspace in Madrid!

We are a high-end communication + design agency working with big name high-profile global clients. We have some great opportunities for ideas-minded interns. DMA Partners is a communications and creative agency that brings brand stories to life so that businesses can engage with their customers and employees and drive brand advocacy.

We have offices located in Madrid and Brighton, we can service customers in the UK and Europe, with a strong background in travel, technology, telecoms and legal services, and work for key players in the industry. We are looking for a Creative Intern to assist us in developing new ideas for client projects.

Your role + what you will learn

You will be taking a client brief right from the outset, - asking all the right questions, getting a deep understanding of our client, their industries, their challenges, - and converting all of that knowledge into simple, bright, sparky and pragmatic creative ideas. You have to be able to show that they will work, - visually, in words and in which channels; print, digital, social media, film etc. One day you will be coming up with a communication campaign creative concept, the next you’ll be writing a storyboard for a film. You should enjoy the challenge of working fast and smart with experienced professionals.

Your skills

You need to have creative spark, a great understanding of how the world and businesses work. You are inquisitive, and you probably read loads of stuff about politics, the arts, technology, global warming and social issues. A design background and interest in the visual arts and photography is essential too. You may not be a hands-on graphic designer, but you need to understand and appreciate the key principles of visual communication. Some video editing skills would be useful, and you need to be completely comfortable on social media platforms and understand how digital channels can be used effectively in communication.

We take pride in what we do, and we expect high quality work every day. For us, the best fun to be had at work is in a job brilliantly done and a delighted client.

If this sounds good to you, please send us your CV and a portfolio to julie.lowe@dma-partners.com . Also, please take some time to write a cover note telling us a bit about yourself and why you think you’d be a good fit for this role. We are completely open on educational background and age. Native spoken and written English however is essential as English is our dominant working client language. Spanish language is not essential but will be useful for communicating with the rest of the design team.

We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
